Breathwork and meditation help us cultivate self-awareness and enhance our emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well-being. These ancient tools enable us to activate our power as the Creators of our life. Having mastery over your inner world allows you to disengage autopilot and shape the life you want with purpose and direction. In this class, you will be guided through the basics of mindfulness meditation and breathwork, learn tools and techniques for emotional balance, and begin to establish inner peace as a baseline in your life. 

No experience is required, and those with an established meditation practice are encouraged to sign up. (Going back to basics helps us maintain a strong foundation, no matter how far along we are on our journey). This class will help you begin to (or continue to) respond to life with more empowerment, enjoyment, and ease.

  • Awareness of practices that help you feel more in control of your emotions and behavior

  • Clarity on how to shift your inner state with breathwork, meditation, movement, and music

Classes will happen live on July 22, July 29, Aug 5, and Aug 12 at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST on Zoom. Each class is 1.5 hours and includes guided breathwork and meditation practices, lecture-style teaching, and guided journal reflection. Attendance at live sessions is not required, but lovingly encouraged. You will receive a recording of the class within 48 hours after the live. The sessions will be live-captioned.

About your Facilitator: Jamila Reddy is a manifestation coach, wellbeing educator, and breathwork/meditation guide whose mission is to live well and support people in creating lives they love. Weaving together ancient wisdom, psychology, neuroscience, and interior design, Jamila shares tools and techniques that all people can use to navigate transformation and experience more peace, joy, and fulfillment in their lives.

Some breathwork techniques should not be done by those who are pregnant or have high blood pressure, glaucoma, detached retina, thyroid conditions, diabetes, heart disease and/or irregularities (including prior heart attack), ulcers, or hernia. In general, breathwork is not recommended for people with a history of aneurysms, vision problems, osteoporosis, or any recent physical injuries or surgeries. It is also not recommended for people who experience severe psychiatric symptoms, epilepsy, strokes, seizures or those actively taking medication that alters brain chemistry or is blood-thinning.
